- Delaware Stars
Delaware Stars for Early Success is Delaware’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) administered by the Delaware Department of Education. A QRIS is a method to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early care and education and school-age settings. The goal of Delaware Stars is to invest in participating programs to increase access to high quality care for all of Delaware’s children, especially those from low-income families.
- Delaware Capacity Grant - Children and Families First (CFF)
This grant provides resources to enhance the quality of care in programs and build the supply of child care in areas of higher need.
- NAEYC (National Association for Education of Young Children)
NAEYC is the leading membership organization representing early childhood education teachers, para-educators, center directors, trainers, college educators, families of young children, policy makers, and advocates. NAEYC is focused on improving the well-being of young children, with particular emphasis on the quality of educational and developmental services for children from birth through age 8.
- daeyc (Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children) - Provider Incentives
The Delaware Association for the Education of Young children (deaeyc) is an affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). deaeyc houses:
T.E.A.C.H. provides scholarships for those working in licensed early care and education or school age programs in Delaware.
WAGE$ is an initiative that provides education-based salary supplement to under paid teachers, directors, administrators and family child care providers, working with children birth through five.
- Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ECMHC)
Provides early childhood mental health consultation as a free service and partnership with Delaware early childhood education programs with a focus on children ages 2 through 5 and on programs with a significant proportion of children who are assisted by the Purchase of Care program.
